Chartered Surveyors Training Trust seeks local candidate for Sussex based training position

The Chartered Surveyors Training Trust (CSTT) is looking for a suitable candidate from the Sussex area to fill a place on its training programme, with a view to qualifying as a Commercial Property Surveyor.

The Trust provides young people between 16 to 24 years old with the life changing opportunity of a debt free, and tutor supported, surveying apprenticeship. The charity supports trainees to become qualified surveyors regardless of their academic, social or financial circumstances through its programme of support that runs from application to qualification.

Christina Hirst, Chief Executive of CSTT, says: "Surveying touches almost everything in our lives, shaping much of the world in which we live. Surveyors spend their careers measuring, valuing, protecting and enhancing the world's physical assets – right now, somewhere in the world, surveyors are busy creating fabulous buildings and structures, protecting fragile reefs from destruction or negotiating the next big property deal. Commercial Property Surveyors principally value, manage and market property, and act as an agent for clients who are purchasing, leasing or selling commercial real estate.

"Our training courses support those who face a disadvantage to gaining employment as surveyors, by providing a route to qualification within the property and construction industry regardless of academic, social or financial circumstances."

Studying with the CSTT means that the successful candidates will be able to study without any debts arising from college or university fees, receive educational support and guidance, gain invaluable work experience, get help to find a job which pays, work with industry-leading firms, study with leading educational establishments and, earn while they learn.

The post is for a Trainee Commercial Property Surveyor based in Horsham, West Sussex
